Brent Kingston has confirmed he will be attending UNB Fredericton and hopes to suit up for the Varsity Reds this fall. Brent and several other recruits will be in Fredericton this weekend to workout for newly appointed UNB coach Brent Baker.
During a brief conversation with Mr. Kingston he indicated some of the recruits are from Ontario and Nova Scotia, plus he thought that NBIAA All Star guard Jacob Taylor may attend as well. If this is true it sounds like coach Baker is already in full recruit mode. I hope this translates into some excitement for the UNB program that has had a couple of tough years.
