The KVHS Crusaders completed the series sweep of Saint John High Greyhounds with 85-50 win on Tuesday night.

The Crusaders jumped out to a quick lead to start the game but the ‘Hounds responded by outworking the home team on the glass and hustling for loose balls. The Crusaders led by five after the 1st quarter and by 10 (44-34) at the half. KVHS broke open the game in the 3rd quarter holding Saint John to only 12 points to take a 32 point lead into the final quarter. 

The Greyhounds were led by Andrew Lambert with 18 points and Phil Folkins with 9. The Crusaders were once again led by seniors Colin Loughery and Ryan Scott. Loughery had 27 points and 20 rebounds, while Ryan Scott added 22 points.

This was Colin fourth 20/20 game of the season. He has 68 rebounds in his last three games, including a school record 30 rebounds this past Saturday against Saint John High. Loughery is on pace to become the first player in school history to record 1000 points and 1000 rebounds for his career. He currently sits at 936 rebounds and 954 points.
